Jahu Natu- India's north easternmost tip

In E. Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang Distt. is this beautiful 1200 m high U shaped Valley ringed by a high 3000 m or so ridge to the north and a 2000 m or so ridge to the south. The original residents are Yobins- a tribe from the Golden Triangle. Now some Nepalese have also been settled there. Its original name has been changed to Vijay Nagar. The only way in is by air. The gent to the right -Mr. AK Saikia from Customs, Dibrugarh- had to spend 61 days there because of constant bad weather. The person on the left is Mr. Kharkhongar from Customs Shillong. Both were lucky during a January visit. They could return back the same day.
