A Bori Adi family
In the far north of West Siang distt in Arunachal Pradesh, NE India, and very close to the border with Tibet, China is the beautiful Valley of Mechuka (1447 m). Bori Adis and Pachakshiri Membas are some of the tribes that dwell here. This Bori Adi couple posed very graciously in their everyday clothes for me. Till a few months ago only planes and were the sole modern means of getting to Mechuka.
