The Dabling Bridge
About 30 kms from the point where the Satluj or the Langchen Khambab (Elephant river) enters Himachal Pradesh, India from Tibet, China is this specatcular concrete bridge recently completed. About 60 years ago there was a wire bridge spanning the gorge. It had fascinated many explorers including Sven Hedin whose book Transhimlaya Vol III has several pictures of this spot.
