Gya above Tsomoriri
Gya 22,284' or 6794 m is the highest peak in Himachal Pradesh. Is in the Zanskar range and stands tall at the trijunctionof H.P., Ladakh (above Chumar) and Tibet. It looms above the Tsomoriri salt lake (14998' or 4573 m) Rupshu, in SE Ladakh. Tsomoriri is just a 160 mins drive from Nyoma the Sub Division Hqrs of Changthang- high plateau - in Leh District.
